Do We Write Our Environment, or Does the Environment Write Us?

The dancers make their way through a rugged landscape, taming an uneven space while optimistically evoking our necessary capacity to adapt to upheaval. Their dance, full of contours and shifting ground, is an invitation to solidarity.

The mind is surely one of the most mysterious of organs, an organ of which we know almost nothing, although we depend entirely upon it. Why do I have the feeling that there are divisions and oppositions within the mind, just as within the body there are different tendencies arising from specific causes?
